Beer Fest- Norsk style

We attended the "beer fest" in Kongsberg a couple weeks ago at a place called Christians Kjeller. It is a really cute bar/restuarant that is set underground. The beer fest occurred in the courtyard outside. It was unlike most beer festivals we have gone to where you pay a fee and then do the all you can drink. We paid a fee and got a limited amount of tokens and a glass to keep :) The glasses made up for that fee.  The tokens actually made us pay more attention to which beers we wanted to try and take note of the good ones. There were many interesting beers there-- There was a sour beer (gross), raspberry cinnamon beer (not my favorite), a blueberry stout (awesome), and a barley wine (strong). My favorite were the different versions of belgian wheat. My new favorite. Kevin was more partial to a brown ale. It was a perfect day outside. We ended up having so much fun that we decided to buy more tokens! Ha. The sun is barely setting now at night so we had sunshine the entire time :) Overall, it was a fun experience!

Starting with his empty glass and tokens :)
